Public Health Pharmacy Competences

Public Health Pharmacy Competences domain of the PEP Exam shifts the focus from the individual patient to the Population Focus. It requires interns to understand the concepts of health beyond just the absence of disease and to apply pharmaceutical knowledge to protect and improve the health of communities.

The objective is for the intern to know methods of health promotion and the use of pharmaceutical agents to promote health in populations.
