This  section of  the PEP Exam Syllabus requires knowledge of pathophysiology, therapeutics, and lifestyle management for chronic conditions including :

Cardiovascular: Hypertension, Congestive Heart Failure, Angina Pectoris, and Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Endocrine & Renal: Diabetes Mellitus, Glomerulonephritis, Nephrotic Syndrome, and Renal Failure (Acute & Chronic).

Respiratory: Bronchial Asthma and COPD (Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis).

Mental Health: Anxiety, Mood disorders, Schizophrenia, Sleep disorders, and Substance abuse.

Others: Peptic Ulcer Disease, Glaucoma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Anemia, and Pain Management .

Oncology: An overview of neoplasms, specifically Leukemia, Breast, Cervical, and Prostate cancers.
